Council has decided to leave one seat vacant until the Saturday, 18 October 2025 Local Government elections.
One seat on Council will be left vacant until the 2025 Local Government elections in October. The seat has been unfilled since the resignation of former councillor Michelle Boylan. Ms Boylan resigned in April after she was elected to the Western Australian Legislative Council. At the 27 May 2025 Ordinary Council Meeting, Council decided to leave the seat vacant until the next Local Government election. The next Local Government election will be held on Saturday, 18 October 2025. Learn more about Council here.
