Council has supported library pop-ups! These are alternative ways to deliver services in places without libraries. In April 2024, we began trialling pop ups to see if they would work. In May 2025, we presented our report to Council. So, what did our report find? Pop-ups are a cost effective and sustainable way to deliver library services to smaller towns in the Harvey Region. Pop-up libraries can revitalise empty spaces and have the potential to draw additional users into these facilities. What's next?
