Bore repairs in Kingston and lakes maintenance in Treendale are scheduled to take place this week.
Due to a failure in the bore infrastructure, all irrigation in the Kingston area has been temporarily turned off. This shutdown is necessary while essential repairs are carried out. Repairs are scheduled to be completed by Friday, 13 March.
The Shire is undertaking scheduled maintenance on the Treendale irrigation lakes to assist with algae control. Irrigation in the Treendale area will remain operational, however, residents may notice that the water levels in the two lakes will temporarily drop. This is required to allow access for cleaning and maintenance of the lakes’ floor. The lakes are expected to begin refilling next week once the maintenance works are completed.
