Lighting upgrade works are scheduled to commence on Monday, 9 March 2026 at Oval 1, Leschenault Recreation Park.

The appointed contractor will be onsite from 9 March for approximately one week to complete the first phase of works. During this period, Oval 1 will be unavailable for use to ensure the safety of all users while works are underway.

The lighting contractor will be returning to site on Monday, 23 March to undertake footing works. Works will be carried out between the hours of 6.30am and 4.30pm and are expected to be completed by Thursday, 26 March. Outside of these hours and days, Oval 1 will be available for use by clubs and community members.

Further stages of the project will require additional periods of closure. Details of these closures will be shared with the community once the timing is confirmed.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation while these important upgrades are completed.

These important upgrades are made possible thanks to a $293,739 CNLP Forward Planning Grant from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
