Cultural Conversations

Develop your understanding of local Indigenous communities at Cultural Conversations, a Shire of Harvey Reconciliation Week event on Tuesday, 30 May 2023.

Led by Elder Dennis Jetta OAM, Cultural Conversations will take businesses and organisations on a journey through Indigenous history, food, traditions and knowledge that will build the cultural capacity of attendees.

The event is best suited to businesses, organisations, community teams and people in leadership roles.

Attendees can expect Cultural Conversations to:

• Enable a more holistic understanding of different cultural views to those considered normal.
• Challenge and encourage participants to view society from an Indigenous point of view.
• Enable individuals and organisations to more effectively communicate with and understand Indigenous peoples.

Afternoon tea will be provided. Individuals are asked to register for catering purposes.
