Are you looking for something for your kids to do after school?

Discover the wonders of STEM concepts at the library!  Each week, staff will guide activities to spark your child’s curiosity, creativity and critical thinking using STEM tools and technology.

Please note this is not a school style lesson. It’s all about having fun, experimenting and making new friends. This program is suitable for 8 to 11 year olds. 

Programs run on Thursdays during school term only.

What is Kids Connect?

How often does Kids Connect meet?

Kids Connect meets every Thursday during the school term. Sessions are held from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.

How do I sign my child up for Kids Connect?

Is there a membership fee?

No, participation is free!

What kind of activities are offered?

Activities vary each week and may include building projects, coding exercises, science experiments, craft and more. The focus is on hands-on learning and having fun.

Is this like a school lesson?

No, Kids Connect is not a school-style lesson. It's all about having fun, experimenting, and making new friends in a relaxed and supportive environment.

What if my child misses a session?

No problem! Each session is designed to be standalone, so your child can join in at any time without feeling left behind.

Do I need to stay with my child?

: Parents need to stay in the library, but we encourage children to participate independently to build confidence and social skills.
