Kylie is an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator from Perth. She was raised in the country with her brother, dog, sheep, several orphaned kangaroos and one very cheeky echidna. Come see her Author Talk!  

Kylie Howarth is coming to the 2025 Shire of Harvey Libraries Literacy Festival!

About Kylie

Kylie is an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator from Perth.

She was raised in the country with her brother, dog, sheep, several orphaned kangaroos and one very cheeky echidna.  

Her obsession with animals also extends underwater.

She has braved lionfish in Egypt, piranha and pink dolphins in the Amazon, marine iguanas and hammerhead sharks in the Galapagos Islands and swum with whale sharks, manta rays and humpback whales at Ningaloo.
