There are no fire restrictions on burning until 1 November 2025. However, if the Fire Danger Rating is High or above and/or a Total Fire Ban has been put in place then no burning is permitted.

Paul Hardisty is coming to the 2025 Shire of Harvey Libraries Literacy Festival!

About Paul

Paul Hardisty is a thought leader and sought-after speaker on marine and coastal environments, with experience in both the public and private sectors.

He has co-founded an international environmental consultancy, worked as director at CSIRO’s Climate Adaptation Flagship and helped manage Australia's Great Barrier Reef. 

About the event

Paul will be talking about his current role as full time author following his previous environmental work managing the Great Barrier Reef.

He will invite audiences to explore his award-winning crime-based fiction titles and unpack his recent non-fiction book about climate change.

Paul will be at Harvey Library for an Author Talk event on Thursday, 6 March 2025 at 2pm.
