Please be advised that the Shire’s Administration Centres in Australind and Harvey will be closed from 25 December 2023 and will reopen on 2 January 2024.
Libraries
- Australind and Harvey libraries will be closed from 25 December 2023 and will reopen on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
- Binningup Library will be closed from 25 December 2023 and will reopen on Wednesday, 3 January 2024.
- Yarloop Library will be closed from Tuesday, 19 December 2023 and will reopen on Thursday, 1 February 2024. The community can access books/items from Yarloop CRC and/or Harvey Library during this time.
Leschenault Leisure Centre
The Centre will be closed on 25 and 26 December 2023 and on 1 January 2024.

Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre
The Centre will operate at reduced opening hours, with the 24-hour gym remaining open throughout the holiday season.
It will be closed from 24 December 2023 and will reopen on 29 December. The Centre will also be closed on New Year's Day, 1 January.

Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool
The Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool will operate at reduced opening hours throughout the holiday season. The pool will be closed on 25, 26 December 2023 and 1 January 2024.

Waste collections during the Christmas period
There will be no rubbish collection on Christmas Day, Monday, 25 December 2023.
Instead, rubbish will be collected a day later than usual (rubbish ordinarily collected on Monday will be collected on Tuesday, and so on).

Rubbish collection will resume as normal during the week starting Monday, 1 January 2024.
Stanley Road Waste Management Facility and Richardson Road Waste Management Facility will be closed on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
