The Harvey Community Precinct has taken another step forward after a stakeholder meeting with the Architectural team on Friday, 20 January 2023.
In December last year, the Harvey Community Precinct Reference Group was presented with an exciting update on the Design Development, with the Development Application being submitted to the Planning team.
All who were in attendance complimented the Architect on the progress made and noted that the community felt they had been listened to.
Last week, Christou Design Group, commissioned to design and document the project, met with the key stakeholders, including the Harvey Aboriginal Corporation, the Harvey CRC, the RLC and several Arts Groups as prospective tenants, to finalise design detail.
Further meetings are scheduled with the Shire's Planning and Senior Leadership Teams to discuss the Development Application submission before approval processes are concluded.
The construction of the Harvey Community Precinct will be phased, with the first phase planned to start in 2023.
