Community Safety and Crime Prevention Advisory Group

The Shire of Harvey’s Advisory Groups aim to improve community engagement and inform the Shire of the needs and aspirations in the community.

Each Advisory Group has Council Representatives and Community Representatives.

Role of the Group

To advise the Shire of Harvey on the review and implementation of the Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan.

Objectives of the Group

  • Advise the Shire of Harvey on the development of strategies, actions, projects and activities to improve community safety, road safety and crime prevention.
  • Provide recommendations to relating to community safety and crime prevention priorities for the Shire of Harvey.
  • Provide recommendations to relating to the Shire of Harvey road safety priorities.
  • Monitor the implementation of the Plan.
