The Shire of Harvey Library Services are bringing you a range of new and exciting programs kicking off this July!
Whether you're looking for something for the kids or a new activity for yourself, we've got something for everyone.
New Programs at Australind Library
For children:
- Book Buddies. Is your child an avid reader or just starting their reading journey? Join us for a fun and friendly reading group where kids can explore stories, share their favorite books, and make new friends. Our friendly library staff will provide age-appropriate activities to support and inspire your child's reading journey.
When: Every Wednesday, starting Wednesday, 23 July 2025, at 3.30pm.
- Kids Connect. Each week, our staff will guide activities designed to spark your child's curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking using STEM tools and technology. It's all about having fun, experimenting, and making new friends!
When: Thursdays during school term only, starting on Thursday, 24 July 2025 at 3.30pm.
For adults:
- Wellness Cafe. Looking for a place to make new friends, boost your mood, or simply enjoy a cuppa and conversation in good company? The Wellness Café at Australind Library is for you!
When: Every Friday, starting Friday, 25 July 2025, at 1pm.
- Book and Movies Club. This isn't just any book club! Discover the magic of stories as they leap from the page to the screen. Each month, join our staff at Australind Library for guided discussions exploring books and their film adaptations.
When: The first Monday of every month, starting Monday, 4 August 2025, at 1.30pm.
