Brunswick and Surrounding Areas Place Advisory Group

The Shire of Harvey’s Advisory Groups aim to improve community engagement and inform the Shire of the needs and aspirations in the community.

Each Advisory Group has Council Representatives and Community Representatives. 

Advisory Group meetings are open to the public. For further information, please contact the Community Development team on 9729 0300 or email.

Role of the Group

To advise the Shire of Harvey on strategies and policies for the Brunswick Junction community.

Objectives of the Group

  • Assist the Shire of Harvey to engage the community about priority projects, services and facilities.
  • Assist the Shire of Harvey to prioritise the Strategic Community Plan strategies and projects.
  • Assist the Shire of Harvey to identify opportunities for community development through creative utilisation of existing resources and assets.
  • Assist the Shire of Harvey by collectively identifying, supporting and working towards projects that serve to build community pride and capacity.

Cameron Parsons

Cameron is a small business owner who wants to improve the Roelands area through his involvement in the Advisory Group.


Garry Criddle                            

Gary has experience in coordinating and overseeing large projects. He owns a business in Brunswick and seeks to be active in creating a
flourishing community.

Gerald Fry

Gerald is a long-term community volunteer who has been involved in the Brunswick Junction community for many years. He wants to bring this experience to the
advisory group.

Heidi Bibby

Heidi is part of numerous committees and clubs in the area. She is keen to share her skills and knowledge to bring out the best of Brunswick Junction.

Jamie Fry

Jamie is a longstanding Brunswick Junction local who has held executive positions on various committees in the town. He is passionate about being involved in his community.

Judy Talbot OAM

Judy has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the community of Brunswick Junction. She seeks to bring her valuable insight and contribution to the advisory group.

Leanne Juricev

Leanne is a current member of the Brunswick Agricultural Society and works in the town. She is passionate about her community.

Mike Kelly

Mike has been the Treasurer of the Men’s Shed since its inception and a passionate advocate for community members in Brunswick Junction.

Nathan Dawe 

Nathan is a local emergency services volunteer and security officer who would like to be involved and contribute to improvements in his community.

Peter Davis

Peter has a wealth of life skills and experience in business, education, government, and sport. He seeks to contribute to improvements in Brunswick Junction for
all residents.

Tina Wallis

With experience in community development, Tina from Brunswick Community Resource Centre seeks to support the social and economic development of
Brunswick Junction and surrounding communities
